  • Fresh mint sprigs 32 to 40 + for garnishing

How to Make Mint Granita with Pears (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. For each portion, put ¾ cup ice cubes, 8-10 mint sprigs, ¼ cup mint syrup, 1 tbsp lemon juice and some water in a blender jar and blend to a thin mixture.
  2. Pour the mixture into a barfi tray and keep in the freezer till set. Scrape the mixture at regular intervals with a fork to get a granita texture.
  3. Discard stem and bottom of USA Pear and chop finely. Put ¼ of the chopped pear into a martini glass and put granita on top.
  4. Serve immediately garnished with a mint sprig.
