Chopping Dry fruits

Chopping sticky foods, like dried fruits, can be difficult because the fruit often sticks to the knife blade, and to each other.

To prevent this from happening, toss the dried fruit in a little flour when making anything that involves a dough or batter. In other dishes, spray the knife with a little nonstick vegetable oil.

Also another way is to keep dry fruits in a refrigerator for about an hour and dip the knife into hot water before chopping.
