4 Drinks for a Fresh & Glowing You

We have heard, read, tried and tested the benefits of healthy foods. We now need to think of a few healthy drinks that refresh your bodily functions and keep you healthy, fit and fine.

Class of drinks you should avoid:

Tap water – Its high on chlorine, contaminated elements & heavy metals. It isn’t filtered & processed properly at the water plants. You need to get a good quality water filter!

Pasteurized beverages – These come in bottles as smoothies and orange juices. They have very high sugar content, are acidic with destroyed enzymes. Try not to consume these!

Artificial Sweeteners – We do get a lot of beverages that contain artificial sweeteners. They contain sucralose, saccharin, aspartame, chrystalline fructose and acesulfame potassium that do more harm than adding a sweet taste to your drinks. Avoid them!

Lemon in hot water – What better way to start off your day than a glass of hot water with a dash of lemon in it! Add this Vitamin C punch to your glass and flush the toxins out of your system.
Herbal Ice Tea – Great taste and refreshing effect is what the herbal iced teas offer you. You can enjoy it sweetened or without it. Rich in antioxidants, this drink comes with a tang sure to relish your taste buds.

Coconut water – The coolest one! It contains minerals & potassium and prevents dehydration.

Watermelon – watermelon is the juiciest, with 92% water content. It hydrates you completely. You can prepare a cool watermelon drink blending it with some cold water. Sip the cool thing!
