Chef Saransh Goila

Chef Saransh Goila’s culinary journey began with his first taste of television success on the FOOD FOOD Maha Challenge, hosted by legends Sanjeev Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. Winning the coveted title of India Ka Super Chef marked the beginning of Saransh Goila’s rise to fame in the culinary world. Madhuri Dixit affectionately tagged him as ‘My chocolate hero’, recognizing his talent and charm on screen. Currently, Chef Saransh Goila holds the esteemed position of Resident Food Editor with FOODFOOD channel.

As India’s youngest celebrity chef, Saransh Goila has made significant strides in the culinary industry. Hosting Roti Rasta aur India, India’s biggest food travelogue show, Saransh has set a record in the Limca Book of Records for being the first Indian chef to travel 20,000 kilometers by road in 100 days. Roti Rasta aur India takes viewers on a culinary journey through the rural villages of India, where Chef Saransh Goila meets local foodies, learns about their cuisine, and creates meals using the tips he gathers along the way. Saransh’s effortless charm and humility bring an element of appreciation to the people he meets and the food he cooks, making the show an instant hit among viewers.

In addition to his television endeavors, Chef Saransh Goila is an Anchor and Chef Consultant for FoodFood channel and a Food Columnist with Discover India magazine. His passion for food began at an early age, making his first Jalebi for his family at the age of 12. With encouragement from his family, especially his grandfather, Saransh was drawn more and more into the culinary field as his passion for food grew.

A graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management – Aurangabad (Taj group of hotels), Chef Saransh Goila obtained a degree in B.A. Honors in Culinary Arts in 2008 and trained in the highly professional Taj kitchens for six months. He further honed his skills by working with The Leela Kempinski, Bangalore, gaining valuable experience in the culinary arts.

Chef Saransh Goila’s specialty lies in contemporary Indian food, with a varied knowledge of Italian cuisine, bakery, and confectionery. He is particularly renowned for his delicious Butter Chicken, now famously known as ‘Koyla Goila Butter Chicken’. Saransh’s philosophy is to preserve traditional Indian cooking techniques and food while giving it a modern twist, making it easily accepted by the youth. His innovative approach to Indian cuisine has earned him widespread acclaim and made recipes by Saransh Goila a favorite among food enthusiasts worldwide.
