- Broccoli, separated into florets 600 gms
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Large onion, chopped 1
- Garlic cloves, chopped 3
Step 1. Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan, add onion and garlic and saute till they become soft.
Step 2. Add broccoli, potato and chicken broth and mix well. Once the mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes, or till the vegetables are tender.

How to Make Broccoli soup (Stepwise Photos)
Method
- Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan, add onion and garlic and saute till they become soft.
- Add broccoli, potato and chicken broth and mix well. Once the mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes, or till the vegetables are tender.
- Blend with a hand blender till smooth. Add nutmeg powder, salt and pepper powder and mix well. Bring to a boil again.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve piping hot.
