- Sunflower oil 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Fennel seeds (saunf) 1 tsp
- Curry leaves 10 to 12
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 1 tbsp
How to Make Dahi Waali Bhindi (Stepwise Photos)
Method
- Take yogurt, gram flour, salt and red chilli powder in a bowl and whisk till smooth.
- Add 1 cup water and whisk again.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and curry leaves and saute till the seeds splutter.
- Add ladyfingers and a little salt and mix well.
- Reduce heat, add yogurt mixture and mix well. Cook, stirring from time to time, till ladyfingers are cooked.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
