– broccoli and sesame complement each other well in this dish
- Medium broccoli 2
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Onions, sliced 3 cups
- Honey 2 tsps + to drizzle
Step 1. Cut the broccoli in equal sized florets.

- Garlic clove, thinly sliced 1
- White sesame seeds (safed til) 3½ tbsps + to garnish
- Olives, pitted 5 to 6
- Cherry tomatoes 5 to 6 + to garnish
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped 1 tsp
- Cider vinegar 1 tbsp
- Green capsicum curls a few
- Red wine vinegar 1 tsp
How to Make Caramalized Broccoli (Stepwise Photos)
Method
- Cut the broccoli in equal sized florets.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add onions and honey and saute till they are caramelized.
- Add salt and mix. Add garlic, sesame seeds, broccoli, olives and cherry tomatoes and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add black pepper and parsley and mix. Add apple cider vinegar and mix.
- Transfer into a serving platter, garnish with sesame seeds, cherry tomatoes and capsicum.
- Drizzle honey and red wine vinegar and serve immediately.
