  • Milk 1½ cups
  • Sugar 2 tbsps
  • Mixed fruit jam 2 tbsps
  • Assorted fruits (apple, banana, pomegranate pearls), chopped 1 cup
  • Mixed nuts 1 tbsps to garnish

How to Make Fruity Porridge (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water in a non-stick sauce pan, add oats and cook till half done.
  2. Add milk and cook till the oats are fully done and the mixture is slightly thick.
  3. Add sugar and jam and mix well.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and when the mixture is still slightly warm, add the chopped fruits and mix well.
  5. Transfer into serving bowls, garnish with nuts and serve.
