  • Ripe bananas, chopped 2
  • Ghee 2 tbsps
  • Milk 3 cups
  • Jaggery, chopped ¼ cup
  • Banana slices a few for garnish

How to Make Jowar Banana Sheera (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add sorghum flour and sauté on medium heat for 1-2 minutes or till it turns light brown in color.
  2. Add chopped bananas and mix. Mash the bananas while mixing.
  3. Add milk, mix well and cook on medium heat, stirring continuously, so that no lumps remain.
  4. Add jaggery, mix well and cook on a medium heat, stirring continuously, till jaggery dissolves completely.
  5. Transfer the sheera into a serving bowl, garnish with banana slices and serve lukewarm.
