Ingredients

  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • Ginger, thin strips 1 tsp
  • Garlic, minced 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 1 tbsp

How to Make Patta Gobhi Matar (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add ginger and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  2. Add cabbage and peas, mix well and cook on high heat.
  3. Add salt, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
  4. Add ½ cup water and mix well. Cook till water dries up.
  5. Transfer into a serving dish, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
